The other option is to take a tomato and blend it in a blender or food processor to form a paste. Take the paste and put it on your face like a facial mask. Let the paste sit on your face for twenty minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

Do Not Touch Your Face

When you have pimples, it can be very tempting to touch your face. During the day, there may be times you unintentionally touch your face. This can actually spread germs and oil, further clogging your pores and causing more outbreaks. If you touch your face, make sure you wash your hand first with an antibacterial soap. Also make sure you keep other things that touch your face clean, or off of your face that may trigger outbreaks.

This includes things like your pillowcases, scarves that you wrap around your neck to keep warm, and even your hair which can have oil and dirt on it that can clog pores. Lastly, make sure you do not share things that will touch your face, like makeup or makeup brushes with another person. This can spread bacteria, oil, and dirt that may cause your pores to become clogged or irritated.

If possible, use a moisturizer with SPF protection to further protect your skin throughout the day. Look for a spot treatment that has benzoyl peroxide in it to treat areas when they first appear. Before applying makeup, make sure it is good quality makeup, with natural ingredients and uf possible, look for makeup made with minerals to help support healthy skin. Make sure to clean your brushes regularly so they do not become dirty with oil and skin cells that can clog your pores. And most importantly, make sure you remove your makeup every night before going to sleep. This will help to prevent pesky blemishes from forming overnight.

Do Not Be Too Aggressive

Blackheads are pesky blemishes that can be very annoying. It is easy to be tempted to scrub your face aggressively to rid yourself of these spots. However, scrubbing too aggressively can actually cause the skin to become inflamed and irritated. When the pores become irritated, it will be difficult for the blockage in the pores to be cleared, causing the blemishes to worsen and become red and swollen.

Instead, make sure you are using only your fingertips, a cotton ball, or a clean face washcloth to wash your face. Do so by making a small circular motion on your skin for only a few short minutes before washing off any product or residue with warm water. Lastly, make sure the water is not too hot for your face. If it is too hot it can burn the delicate skin, create complications, including potential infections, and take longer for it to heal properly.
